Hey, so I just got an afterglow controller with the intention of using it on steam for my computer. The only accepted payment method at $5,000 or more is wire transfer.Ok, so after reading this post I was a little unhappy as I have one of these controllers and I have Windows 8.1. I initially want to use it on Skyrim, but I plan on getting more games to use it on, so I really. However, low and behold I managed to get it working. I downloaded the XBox 360 driver pack for Windows 7 (Yes, I am quite aware I have Windows 8.1) : If you go to Devices and Printers, the controller shows up as an AfterGlow Gamepad for XBox 360. Started it back up and logged in, then plugged the controller in, and its still working. I installed the driver pack and connected the controller. Device manager advised that there was NO driver for the After Glow Controller.

Trying to go through the Manual Driver update is fruitless and just hangs device manager. Leaving the controller connected to the USB port, I rebooted the machine.
